Kyle Martin is the Bay Area News Group's Fremont and Tri-Valley reporter for The Mercury News and East Bay Times. A San Jose-born Filipino American, he has lived in both the Bay Area and North Texas, working as a reporter, photographer and multimedia journalist covering daily news, enterprise features, governments, police, protests, courts, the pandemic, music and arts and social issues. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas Mayborn School of Journalism with a BA in Digital and Print Media.
