Eliane Marie Corbeil Roe OBITUARY

Eliane (Lily) Roe passed away peacefully Dec. 6, 2025.

Born Oct. 6, 1932 in Corbeil Ontario, Canada, beloved wife to Stuart Roe. She worked for the Canadian Government in Vietnam and Cambodia before moving to Connecticut with Stuart and eventually the West Coast, living in LA, Sunnyvale, Scotts Valley and Capitola. She received her BA and MA degrees from SJSU.

Lily was an avid gardener, a published author, an instructor at SJSU, and an academic advisor and writing instructor at UCSC.

Predeceased by her loving husband in 2009, she is survived by daughter Cathy Groh, son David Roe and his wife Bonnie Roe, nephews, Kenny Singleton and Evan Mills, nieces, Amanda Singleton and Robin Mills, great nieces Francesca and Sasha Mills, great nephew Nathaniel Mills, and her precious great granddaughter, Madison Singleton.
