Marjory Schneider OBITUARY

With great sadness the family of Marjory Alice Schneider announces her passing at the age of 76. She was born in Schenectady, NY and grew up in Wilmette, IL before moving to San Francisco and then San Jose.

Marge was a prolific poet with 12 published books. She wrote haikus and tankas almost every day. Despite long struggles with mental illness, she persevered with great courage and was a most generous friend and loving sister.

Marge is survived by her siblings, Carolyn (Bill), Cynthia (Buford), Warren (Mary), & Stephen (Beth); her nieces, Natalie, Alana (Andy), Priscilla, Esme, Brooklyn, and Hazel; her nephews, Jeremiah and Augustin; and by such good friends including Catherine, Mike, Isabel, and Christine.
